Boot log is a program that runs on os-x to grab the user name you booted up as and saves a log in the user's prefs folder called 'boot log'. this log is added. In the software update preferences program, i don't see any log of installed files, even though i regularly update my system software. i don't see any settings i can make or a way to create a log file..
